I figured it was only appropriate that my first post be dedicated to my soul inspiration for blogging in the first place (plus I think all of my social media friends are sick of seeing my #ootd posts). Last October, a small boutique opened in the tiny town I’m glad to call home. Little did I know that it would soon be somewhere I would completely fall in love with (and also the place where I’d quickly spend most of my money..whoops).
A few short months after my first visit, I find myself making weekly trips and have also found a great friend in the owner (she really is the sweetest and obviously has great taste). Last week, I found out that the Line would be hosting “Wine at the Line.” I couldn’t dream up something better myself, after all this night had two of my favorite things in life, wine and The Line.
The evening was perfect;complete with both red and white wine, as well as appropriate partners, cheese and grapes. How cute is the boxed wine holder? The owner made it herself, as the boutique also sells unique furniture.
I faired quite well with the items they had just received from shipment that day. I have learned from past experiences to get there ASAP after seeing a cute new outfit posted on Instagram. With only a few sizes in each piece, they go quickly!
The coral maxi dress is Newbury Kustom. Although I was worried about the length, it fit perfectly.
The green tank is Ya Los Angeles, it is open in the back and will look great with a summer tan and some black skinny jeans.
The blue romper is also Ya Los Angeles. The embroidered design on the front complements the open v-back with the delicate buttoned neckline strap.
Finally, the kimono is UMG USA, and pairs perfectly with the “I’m a Happy Camper” graphic tank. I can’t take credit for this look, it was what Sheli wore last night, and it was fabulous.
Last night was wrapped up with some laughs with my mom and sister, an old high school friend, and even my hairstylist (aka therapist). It is truly both a blessing and a curse that this hidden treasure is less than 2 miles from my house. If you are anywhere in the greater Pittsburgh area, you must check it out! It is located in Irwin, PA. A lot of items can also be purchased online, but remember – they go fast! Shopping local really is the new black.

I’m looking forward to more events like this one held here this summer! Nothing goes together quite like girlfriends, clothes, and wine. Look out for more Pretty Little Things subject posts, I am positive items from The Line will be the headliner of many.
